Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup chocolate chips

 

 

Instructions:

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.In the small bowl of the stand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3.Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4.In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixer bowl and mix until just combined.

5.Stir in the chocolate chips.

6.Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

7.Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

8.Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
