Ingredients

  • 1 cup regular sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • Colorful chocolate candies (or your favorite holiday sprinkles and decorations)

Instructions

    Cream the base

Add the regular sugar, brown sugar, softened butter, and vegetable oil into your Kitchen in the Box mixing bowl. Using the flat beater, cream everything together until smooth.

    Whip in the eggs

Add the eggs and beat until the mixture turns light and fluffy.

    Mix the dry ingredients

Sprinkle in the salt, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, and flour. Mix until just combined—don’t overbeat.

    Add the festive touch

Fold in the colorful chocolate candies (or any Christmas-themed decorations you love).

    Shape the cookies

Scoop spoonfuls of dough and shape them into cookie rounds. Place evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Bake to perfection

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.

    Cool & enjoy

Let them cool on a wire rack before serving. Store in an airtight container—if they last that long!

     Pro Tips

    • For extra holiday flair, press a few chocolate candies on top of each cookie right before baking.
    • Want softer cookies? Slightly underbake and let them finish cooking on the hot tray after removal.
    • These cookies make wonderful gifts—wrap them in festive bags or tins and spread the holiday cheer!
